Amazon FBA Fee & Profit Calculator
Compare the same product under FBA and merchant fulfilment. Add the costs that often disappear from headline margins: storage, inbound placement, returns, advertising and the selling plan. All inputs and outputs stay in your browser.

How the calculation works
Net profit = item + shipping − referral fee − landed cost − fulfilment − storage − inbound − returns − advertising − plan allocation. Referral = max(rate × revenue, minimum). Target price is solved numerically for your chosen net margin.
Worked example
With a $30 item, 15% referral, $8 landed cost, $4 FBA quote, $0.30 storage, $0.50 inbound, $0.20 returns, 10% advertising and $0.99 Individual fee, profit is $8.51. At $6 FBM fulfilment and no FBA storage, profit is $6.81.
Assumptions and limitations
Automatic referral presets cover three US categories only. Other marketplaces and categories require entered fees. Package dimensions/weight are recorded for checking your quote; they do not silently select a fulfilment tier. Use USD with US presets. Monthly plan allocation depends on units sold.
Recheck Amazon’s Revenue Calculator for the actual item, marketplace and date. Storage can vary by season and inventory age. This model excludes exceptional surcharges, tax, refunds of referral fees and exchange-rate changes.

Common questions
Why enter a fulfilment quote?
Dimensional weight, size tiers, product type and programme eligibility can change the fee. A guessed size table would imply accuracy the tool cannot provide.
