Etsy Fee & Profit Calculator

Understand how item price, shipping and seller fees affect an Etsy order. US and UK payment presets are available; all other countries use explicit custom rates rather than a fabricated international schedule.

US USD and UK GBP fee presets reviewed 11 October 2026. Custom mode uses entered payment and transaction rates. Listing fee and offsite cap require your local-currency amounts.

US listing fee $0.20; enter converted amount for other currencies.
US $100 cap; convert for UK/custom.
Use 2.5 when applicable.
Simplified uniform fee VAT; check invoice.

How the calculation works

Revenue = item + shipping. Transaction and offsite fees use seller revenue; processing includes additional marketplace tax. Profit = revenue − fees − product cost − actual postage. Target price solves profit / revenue = target margin.

Worked example

US order: $30 item + $5 shipping, $10 product cost, $4 postage, one $0.20 listing, 6.5% transaction and 3% + $0.25 processing, with no ads or other fees. Seller fees are $3.775 before display rounding; profit is $17.225, displayed $17.23.

Assumptions and limitations

UK preset includes the regulatory operating fee; enter listing and offsite-cap amounts in GBP yourself. Uniform seller-fee VAT is an approximation. Additional marketplace tax is a processing-fee base and is not seller revenue. Presets reviewed 11 October 2026.

Select the correct payout currency and seller country. Verify attributed offsite orders and local fee VAT from your account; deposit charges, refunds, subscriptions and exceptional fees are outside this estimate.
