SVG to PNG Converter

Convert SVG geometry into a PNG at a chosen resolution without uploading the file. Batch output offers separate images and a ZIP. Transparency can be preserved or replaced with a solid background before rasterization.

Up to 5 files, 2 MB each, 16 megapixels per output. Safe geometry only; scripts, CSS, fonts, embedded images and external resources are rejected. Each PNG and a ZIP are downloadable.

Aspect ratio preserved.

How the calculation works

Output height = round(output width × source height / source width). Safe SVG geometry is serialized into a local image and drawn into a bounded canvas before PNG encoding.

Worked example

A viewBox of 0 0 400 200 exported at 1,200 pixels wide produces a 1,200 × 600 PNG. A transparent background preserves uncovered alpha; a white background fills it first.

Assumptions and limitations

Up to five files, 2 MB each and 16 MP per output. The strict safe subset rejects scripts, CSS, fonts, images, external references, animation and unsupported elements. It is not a full SVG renderer.

Convert complex artwork to simple outlined geometry first. Original vectors remain more suitable for unlimited scaling; raster resolution should match the actual print or screen need.
