Unit Converter
Choose a measurement, enter a value and compare compatible units in one place. Distinct US and imperial liquid measures prevent a common planning error. The complete conversion table helps you check a result without repeatedly changing selectors.

How the calculation works
Base value = input × source scale. Output = base / destination scale. Temperature uses offsets: °C=(°F−32)×5/9; K=°C+273.15.
Worked example
One metre is 3.280839895 feet. One US gallon is 3.785411784 litres; an imperial gallon is 4.54609 litres. 32 °F is 0 °C.
Assumptions and limitations
Only the selected measurement’s units are accepted. Temperature cannot be below absolute zero. Floating-point display uses ten significant digits, which is not a claim about measurement precision.
Use actual measurements and distinguish mass from volume. A density is needed to convert between them; this tool deliberately keeps these dimensions separate.
